Pending Changes

The IESO is committed to ensuring that changes affecting market participant systems are done with minimal disruption. To do this, the IESO will inform market participants of pending market system changes and invite them to provide feedback to the IESO on the design and timing of the implementation. This process is outlined in Market Manual 2.13: "Change and Baseline Management". (PDF)

The IESO will announce to market participants when updated documentation is available on the following pages:

• Change Notification Listing - provides advance notice of pending changes to the Market Rules, Market Manuals, technical interfaces or other items that define the operation of the IESO-administered markets; and
• Pending Market System Software Changes - provides information for a software release.
• Report Listing - provides information on preliminary and target XML reports.

Market participants and other stakeholders will be able to provide feedback to the IESO regarding implementation concerns within a specified timeline. The IESO will take this feedback into account in making decisions on how to proceed with any change.
