Market Operations Standing Committee

The Market Operations Standing Committee provides advice to IESO staff on both commercial market operations and system reliability issues, including:

• Real time Markets
• Financial Markets
• Metering
• Settlements
• Forecasting
• Provision of Market Information

Chairing of the Market Operations Standing Committee is shared by Pat Doran, Manager, IESO Market Facilitation and Al Miller, Senior Technical Officer-Customer Support. Participation is from the various sectors of the Ontario electricity market to ensure broad representation. Participants should have broad knowledge of the IESO Administered Markets and/or system operations concepts. Market Operations Standing Committee meetings are open to all market participants.
