IESO Resources Facility RegistrationAll facilities forming part of, or connected to the IESO-controlled grid must be registered with the IESO. In addition, organizations with facilities wishing to participate in the IESO-administered markets must register their facilities with the IESO.The steps associated with registering your facilities are documented in Facility Registration, Maintenance and Deregistration Procedure (PDF: 457KB) and the Market Entry Step-by-Step Guide (PDF: 242KB). Most of the information required for Facility Registration is presented in the form of supporting documents and forms
associated with a facility.

As a Market Participant registering a facility, you are required to provide the following supporting documents:

Data Monitoring and Voice Communications
IESO will perform an assessment of your data monitoring and voice communications infrastructure. For these purposes and depending on whether your facility is currently monitored
by the IESO or not, you are required to download, complete and submit the following forms:

New facilities or facilities not presently monitored by IESO
Facility Contacts
IESO must also retain a complete list of applicable Facility Contacts for each of your facilities. If this list is not already available to the IESO, you should download, complete and submit the following form:
Facility Maintenance and De-Registration - Change Control
This form is to be completed when submitting revised technical assessment forms to the IESO, as part of changes in facility registration (Facility Maintenance and De-Registration). The information helps IESO staff to identify what forms you have submitted, and the changes that have been made to your facility. All changes must be compared to the technical assessment forms originally submitted for your facility. You must identify the revised forms and the nature of the change.
