Facility Registration Documents & Forms
Supporting Documents
When registering a facility you will be required to provide the following supporting documents:
- Single line electrical diagram of your facility, annotated with monitored points and quantities. This applies to all facilities.
- Connection Agreement with the transmitter or local distribution company (LDC) - Transmitter if your facility is connected to the IESO-controlled grid, or LDC if connected to a distribution system.
- Operating or Agent Agreement - If you are not the owner of the facility you are operating the agreement is between you and the owner of the facility.
- Facility Description Documents (FDD) - If your facility is to be connected to the IESO-controlled grid and is to be equipped with a Special Protection System (SPS), as required by your connection assessment.
- Facility Profile Form 1181
- Letter of Empowerment Form 1141 - If you are the registered market participant but not the owner of the facility.
- User Resource Relationships Form 1421 - If you are the registered market participant, this form identifies which users can submit schedules, bids or offers with respect to a registered facility.
- Emergency Preparedness Plans – Plans must be prepared that describe how you will respond to emergencies affecting the supply or delivery of electricity. The Emergency Planning Guidlines can assist you in developing your emergency preparedness plans.
- Facility Contacts Form 1176 - A complete list of contact information for each facility.
