Studies General Electric (GE)/AWS Truewind Wind Study, published October 2006. This study was undertaken on behalf of the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), and the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) to assess the implications of large scale wind integration into the Ontario power system. AWS Truewind Study, published April 2005 is a study of the potential impacts of significantly enhanced wind energy generation on the Ontario electrical grid.
