Technical Panel Decision on MR-00350: Change Frequency of Publishing 18-Month Outlook

At its February 24, 2009 meeting, the Technical Panel determined that market rule amendment submission MR-00350-Q00 no longer warrants consideration.

The Panel unanimously approved the IESO's recommendation, based on stakeholder feedback and discussion that the market is better served by maintaining the quarterly publication rather than the suggested change to a semi-annual publication.

Survey Results on Market Participant Interface Replacement

The IESO has received feedback from market participants on the replacement of the existing Market Participant Interface (MPI) and Application Programmer Interface (API) project: www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se74.asp. As a next step in the process, a business scenario document will be published to describe the vision for the project moving forward.

The IESO initiated this new stakeholder engagement plan to identify existing issues and potential improvements to the MPI and API as input to a project to replace these tools: www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se74.asp.
