A new IESO Consumer Forum will create an opportunity for electricity users and associations to provide their input on key electricity market initiatives and to discuss matters of concern to them with the IESO.  The Consumer Forum will also assist the consumer representatives on the IESO's Stakeholder Advisory Committee in representing their sectors.

The terms of reference for the Consumer Forum will be posted shortly on the IESO website at http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se42.asp.  

These terms of reference were developed based on the input provided from 24 electricity consumers including representatives from large and small industrial, commercial, agricultural, residential and public service (municipalities, universities, schools, hospital) sectors and are expected to evolve as Consumer Forum initiatives are implemented and experience is gained.
