The IESO will issue the OPG rebate to eligible market participants for the period from November 1, 2008 - January 31, 2009, on the April 30 preliminary settlement statement and April invoice. The rebate will appear under charge type 112 - Ontario Power Generation Rebate and is to be issued May 14.
The OPG rebate is a payment to market participants, based on their pro-rata share of the total Ontario Allocated Quantity of Energy Withdrawn.
The settlement values for the November 1, 2008 - January 31, 2009 period are:
- Total Ontario Power Generation Rebate: $58,542,911.83
- Total Allocated Quantity of Energy Withdrawn: 37,805,529.654 MWh
Distributors are reminded that OPG quarterly rebate data must be submitted on-line by Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
