Information Regarding Stale-Dated $75 Rebate Funds

The Ontario Electricity Financial Corporation (OEFC) has provided additional direction to distributors that have returned stale-dated $75 rebate funds. As per the OEFC, consumers who find their stale-dated cheque and are not able to cash it may mail it to:

Toronto, ON M7A 1Y7
Attention: Richard Rose
The OEFC is prepared to re-issue these stale-dated cheques if the original cheque is provided. If a consumer cannot provide the original cheque, then OEFC would need to verify through the distributor that the original cheque had not been cashed.
